A lifelong lover of books, Joni Truex can usually be found writing, reading, or reviewing Christian Fiction—coffee, tea, or water always close at hand. She hopes her stories bring joy, peace, and faith to her readers.

Recently retired, Joni is starting an exciting new chapter in fiction writing. She holds an MBA in human resources, business management, and marketing, and has taught courses as an adjunct faculty member at two local colleges. Over the years, she has published numerous non-fiction articles for magazines, newspapers, and special publications, while also serving as Executive Officer of her local Builders Association and completing two terms as an at-large elected official on her County Council.

She and her husband, Dale, are empty nesters living on their farm in Indiana. They are blessed with two children, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. When not writing, she enjoys playing games, watching sports with her husband, and spending time with family and friends.
